The Department of Forest Mycology and Plant Pathology offers astimulating and international research environment. Research at thedepartment include interactions between microorganisms and plants aswell as mycology, microbial ecology and evolution. Central themes areplant pathology, biodiversity and nutrient and carbon cycling inagricultural and forest ecosystems. The position is placed in the SoilMicrobiology team, which performs fundamental and applied research infunctional microbial ecology, especially within the nitrogen cycle.
