Two (2) Postdoc positions are available at the Institute of Cellular Therapy of University of Patras to work on GSRT (General Secretariat for Research and Technology) funded projects. The newly established Institute of Cellular Therapy and its incorporated GMP (Clean room A, B, C, D) facilities is affiliated with the BMT Unit of the University Hospital of Patras and the CBMD Donor Center (http://www.bmtpatra.gr, https://www.xarisezoi.gr).
The projects aim at the development of novel TCR- and CAR-T cell products. Tasks of the Postdoc include the development of GMP- compliant protocols which should be transferred and validated for clinical translation.
We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious scientists with extensive experiences in cell culture, molecular biology, tumor immunology and possess a strong interest in immunotherapy (obligatory requirements). Prior experiences in GMP production and viral- and /or non-viral T cell transduction methods are advantageous. We also strongly encourage applications from medical hematologists with relevant research background, BMT experience and strong motivation to work on developmentand application of CAR-T cells and gene therapies.
