Medical Sales Specialist – Αθήνα

A biotechnology Company specializing in Genetic Analysis is looking to recruit a talented Medical Sales Specialist to further promote our product portfolio and maximize our sales growth in Cardiometabolic Area. This position will be based in Athens and will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships of trust with customers/health professionals and utilizes them effectively for the benefit of both parties
  • Maintain long-term product recognition and generate new business to accomplish the company’s annual sales targets and operational strategies
  • Develop effective communication with doctors to support the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the area sales plan
  • Take actions to improve our sales strategies based on market data and competition analysis
  • Explore new market opportunities and new products
  • Attend medical conferences or other relevant events

Requirements

  • BSc in Biology or a related discipline
  • 2-4 years of proven work experience in a relevant position preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Working commercial experience in a regulated environment
  • A good overall understanding of the pharma industry, trends, and products
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and resolve complex problems
  • Self-motivation and teamwork mentality
