We are seeking highly motivated scientists to join our Laboratory at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA), Basic Research Center, and contribute to our research on the transcriptional mechanisms underlying myeloid leukemic transformation.

POSITION 1: Postdoctoral Researcher (Full-Time)

Candidates should have:

• A PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Molecular Medicine, or a related Life Sciences discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in a basic research laboratory.
• Extensive experience in molecular biology techniques, including recombinant DNA technologies, RT-PCR, protein purification, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, ChIP, RNA-seq, cell culture, immunofluorescence, mouse handling, and omics data analysis.

Candidates should also be able to:

• Independently design and execute scientific research projects.
• Develop and implement new methodologies to advance research objectives.
• Identify and resolve challenges in experimental design and pipelines.
• Critically analyze complex datasets, interpret experimental results, and integrate findings with overall project goals.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized laboratory records.
• Supervise students in their daily experiments and provide guidance in troubleshooting.

POSITION 2: PhD Student (Full-Time)

Candidates should have:

• BSc and MSc degrees in Molecular Biology, Molecular Medicine, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a basic research laboratory (experience in molecular biology techniques, including recombinant DNA technologies, RT-PCR, protein purification, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, ChIP, RNA-seq, cell culture, and immunofluorescence, and omics data analysis will be considered an advantage).

Candidates should also be able to:

• Identify and troubleshoot problems in experimental design and pipelines.
• Critically analyze and interpret experimental data.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized laboratory records.
