Τhe Science Education and Public Engagement (SEPE) team at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany is organising a free online training course on the human microbiome, which explores the diverse and powerful ways in which the microbes that live in our bodies influence our wellbeing.
Titled “The human microbiome in health and disease – A course for educators & microbiome enthusiasts”, the course is aimed at science educators, researchers and anyone interested to learn more about the power of microbes to influence health and disease in our bodies. The course runs from 27 November to 13 January 2024, and participants are invited to join at any time across the seven weeks. The workload is estimated at 2 hours per week, with a course certificate available on completion. The working language of the course is English.
