SymBioSE is a Symposium of Biology Students in Europe. It was founded in 1996 by members of a German student association. The basic idea was to connect all European biology students, allowing for the exchange of ideas, perspectives and experiences about student concerns.

The 29th edition of SymBioSE (Symposium for Biology Students in Europe) will bring together all level biology students from across Europe to share research, attend lectures, participate in workshops, and engage in cultural exchange. This year’s symposium is organized by students from the University of Latvia and Bulduru Technical School.
