The Department of Environmental and Life Sciences at the Faculty of Health, Science and Technology is comprised of the subjects Biology and Geomatics. In Biology, the main part of the teaching activities consists of teaching courses within the University’s teacher education programmes. The subject is responsible for teaching biology with focus on teaching and education in all of the teacher education programmes, at all levels.
