R&D Research Scientist – BiomedCode, Athens

Biomedcode Hellas SA (www.biomedcode.com) is seeking a motivated bioscientist, that holds a PhD in Biological Sciences or related fields, to join the activities of its R&D department.The prospective candidate will participate in the development and characterization of new animal models of human pathologies as well as the development and standardization of preclinical platforms for the evaluation of human therapeutics. These activities may be performed in the context of European and National Research funding schemes.

Prospective candidates must be motivated, organized, detail-oriented and adaptable individuals with team spirit and social skills that enjoy working in a laboratory environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Required Qualifications
• PhD in Biomedical Sciences
• Excellent command of the English languageRequired Experience
• Molecular biology techniques
• Animal experimentation
• Scientific writing including grant reporting and scientific papers

Prior experience in the development and characterization of in vivo and ex vivo models of disease in the fields of neurological disorders, inflammatory diseases, cancer as well as knowledge of in vitro and ex vivo drug screening techniques will be assessed favorably.
